Just came across your post. I have my doubts that there is a relationship but in my lineage I have Lawrence Driscoll married to Bridget Redmond. Lawrence was born in St. Johns NF 1838 and Bridget was born in Placentia, NF in 1837. The dates are wrong for your Lawrence and Catherine, but in that age marrying cousins was not uncommon as was one family repeatedly marrying into another. Have you had your DNA tested?
