I have a Margaret Pulsyver marrying in the South Hams, Devon UK in 1589, who may have been sister to JASPER and NICHOLAS PULSYVER / Pulsover / Pulsevir and all variants.
Given the strong ties between Newfoundland cod fisheries and South Devon fishing industry, I wondered if the family may have come to Devon from Newfoundland, and wonder if anyone has ever come across this family name?
