    researching ancestors and info on Prudence Clarke who married florence mccarthy early 1800’s carbonear, Ann Clarke who married john mccarthy (their 1st.son felix was bapt. 1806 carbonear), and Phoebe Clarke who married joseph french 1837 carbonear.

    I’m interested in the Clarkes of Carbonear/ Crockers Cove, particularly Adam Clarke whose land was ‘lost’ to Gosse, Pack and Fryer in 1825.
    This is mentioned in the Frank Clarke’s frankstimeline website.
    I’d like to find out what happened to Adam Clarke.
    Any information would be appreciated.

    I’m trying to find information on Maria Clarke would have been born early to mid 1800 married Elijah Pye. So also try to find information on the Pye family

    The information I have is they’re both from Carbonear NL.
