The Family History Society of NL (FHSNL) is incredibly excited to share the details of our first workshop: FHSNL Genealogy 101

When: 10am - 2pm on Saturday, October 24th 2026

Where: Bacalhao Room at The Lantern, 35 Barnes Road, St. John's

Registration Fee: $25 regular / $20 students

If you’ve always wanted to research your family roots and don’t know where to start, this workshop is for you! We’ve planned a half-day session to help you answer the first questions about beginning your family history journey. This will be a hands-on experience, giving you the chance to start connecting the dots and have our experts guide you on how to take the next steps towards solving the mystery of your roots!

At the FHSNL, we’ve been providing genealogy expertise since 1984, and our workshop facilitators have more than 100 years of research experience combined! So come join us and get started on building your family tree!
