John Tobin was born in Renews in 1872 (?) -Believe he married an Amelia Westcott in the early 1890’s. They left for Massachusetts in 1923. Have no history of them prior to that time except John and Amelia show up on the census (1921) in St John’s.

Also looking for information on James and Mary Anne (Casey) Murphy. They had a daughter Mary (1897) who left for Massachusetts in 1922–Mary (1897) married William H Tobin (son of the above John and Amelia.

Any info on either of the two families would be greatly appreciated.
