I am researching Flaherty. I am particularly interested in Mary and John Flaherty. Mary was born in Witless Bay and her maiden name may have been Kearney(Carney). Mary and John had at least 2 children…Patrick and Mary. I have researched on the NGB genealogy site and have all the imformation provided on that site. I am trying to determine if Mary was indeed a Kearney and if so, I would like to find her parents’ names and if she had brothers and sisters. Any of fhsnl members that can shed light on this, I would dearly lovee to hear from you. Looking forward to fleshing out my family tree.
