I am searching for any descendants of four Currie brothers who came to Newfoundland from Wales. John Currie b 1822 married Elizabeth Frances Chancey in St.John’s. His brother Pierce b.1831 married Lucy Pelley. David b.1834 married Anna Maria Hiscock. Daniel Charles married Constance Graham. They had a slate quarry near Britannia.
In 2010 I was able to find fifth cousins, descendants of Pierce and Daniel.
Now I would like to find descendants of John and David.
John had seven children John b 1854 married Annie Ash, Sarah b.1852 married George Skinner, Emma Grace b 1857 married Charles Anthony, Llewellyn b.1863 married Cora Bertwell, Lionel Chancey b 1860 didn’t marry, Ada b 1866 married James Rice and David b 1864 did not marry. It seems that this family moved to East Cambridge, Massa chusetts, as this is where John and his wife, Emma and Lionel are buried.
David’s children were William Cathroe 1867-1903, Ellen Grace b 1869 marriedRev William Henry Browning, John T.1862-1930, Daniel 1860-1938 and Robert b 1866
