I have learned that Patrick Kennedy was born around 1822 in St. John’s. Although the 1921 census says he was born 1824 in Lower Gullies.

I found his obituary in a Newfoundland newspaper online. He died March 18, 1923 and lived to see his 100th birthday. He died in Riverdale which is near Lower Gullies/Kelligrews.

I still can’t find his parents though which is what I need to find because I can’t get back any further in my lineage with any of my Newfoundland Ancestors.
