I am looking for relatives of a James Butler born Jan 3rd 1914 who was sent to Canada as a British Home child in 1930. Through my research I have discovered that a James Butler (of the right age) worked with the Newfoundland Forestry Unit in Scotland in 1939 (seen on a passenger list St Johns to Liverpool) This young man may well have settled in Newfoundland on his return in 1941. He was probably a Catholic. He had a brother Martin who was also sent out to Canada in 1925.The boys had a sister, Mary who stayed in Warrington England.
Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
