I am trying to find information about families who settled in Newfoundland and moved to Anticosti Island in Québec around 1865.

WILLIAM WRIGHT was born about 1825 probably in Nova Scotia. He married MARY ALICE CASE about 1857 in Newfoundland. She was born in Newfoundland about 1840. Two of their children were born in Newfoundland: John about 1858, Mary Helen b. august 1863.
JOHN WRIGHT, his brother, was born about 1841 probably in Nova Scotia. He married HELEN STRICKLAND in Newfoundland. She was born in Newfoundland about 1842.

According to the family’s history, William and John’s father was Edward Walter Wright born in Nova Scotia. I cannot find any records for these families in Newfoundland & Nova Scotia.
Any information on these families will be greatly appreciated.
