    I am trying to locate my 3rd great-grandfather. According to my 2nd GGF’s death certificate (his name was William John Stevens) his parents were Thomas K Stevens and Susan Day. It says Thomas was from Newfoundland. Any ideas or pointers? I haven’t come across any solid leads.

    William John Stevens was born in New Foundland in March 1879, according to his death certificate. I estimate his parents were born in the 1840-1850s.
