I’m looking for information on the Hatcher Families from Furby’s Cove. A genealogist says there where 4 Hatcher Families in Furby’s Cove in the 1820’s and she thinks they where brothers (or cousins). Rev. Wix baptised a number of their children on April 1, 1835. The book “Ramea’s Family Tree” by Victor G and Victor Kendall indicated my relative came from Dorset as an employee of Newman and Company. The 4 Families where George and Grace (who went to Ramea), Robert and Ann (who went to Burgeo), Timothy and Susan (who stayed in Furby’s Cove) and Charles and Mary (who went to Rose Blanche). I would like to get into England but I need more information on birth dates, Village or town and church parish.
