My Grandfather George Ingerman born July 1882 on Heavy Tree Road based on 1921 and 1935 census records. His dad is listed as German. He married Irene Strong on November 2, 1907 in Shoal Harbour. I’m trying to track down the truth on his parents. Family stories say his dad came from Hamburg Germany in the 1870’s. I found a George Engelman who came from Southampton England in 1864 married Mary Ann Binmore in 1870 and had a George Francis Ingerman in August of 1880, not a match. Could anyone help me find out who his parents are?
