I am looking for surviving family descended from John Flood Dryer. His father was William Bast Dryer of Exeter, England and St. John’s and his mother was Mary Ann Flood, daughter of John Flood. John Flood’s grave is one of the few stones still intact at St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, St. John’s.

John Flood Dryer was a telegraph operator who died in Bay of Islands in 1886. He was married to Mary Ann Linegar (d 1879), and Mary French (d 1932). Children: Maud, John P, William, Henry, Robert.
