    My great great grandfather is John Murray who was born of Irish parents in St. John’s NFLD in 1804. I found his Grave Memorial online and it indicates he was born in St. John’s Avalon Peninsula Census Division. He later moved to Mabou, NS and married Rachel Smith. I am looking for his parents names and where they came from (in Ireland) and any information on his siblings. I can’t seem to access any birth records online. Any further information would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Wanda, my great-great grandfather was John Murray’s twin brother, William Murray. I have also been unable to discover who their parents are, other than a general reference that they came from Wexford, Ireland. Have you been able to figure this out?
