Hello-
Like many people, I’m attempting to trace my family history. My great-great grandfather, Arthur Walker, was born in Newfoundland in 1868. One document I’ve found lists “Bonavista” as his birthplace, He was married to Johanna Dooley in Open Hall on January 7, 1893. I’d really like to trace my family line as far back as I can.Any information is greatly appreciated.

A bit more information: Johanna Dooley was born in Plate Cove on April 10, 1871. Arthur Walker was born on October 4, 1868 in Bonavista and they had two sons, William and Daniel Patrick Walker born on March 18, 1898 or 1899 (later having sons Winifred, Frank, and Eugene in the U.S.)
Their last residence in Newfoundland was Sweet Bay, and The Walkers emigrated to Boston though Maine in 1900. they settled in Medford, Massachusetts. Daniel eventually moved to East Boston.
