Looking for ancestor information for both George Henry Andrews b abt 1839 (Brigus) and his spouse Elizabeth Hussey b abt 1838-1844 (Brigus)
This is a very old thread so the author may not even check this, but just in case: I trace my line to a Rachel Andrews born around 1844 in Bareneed, not far from Brigus. Rachel married Abraham Morgan in 1866 in Port de Grave, and the two witnesses were named George and Elizabeth Andrews. We haven’t been able to determine how they were related to her: parents would be the first guess, but a brother and sister-in-law would also be plausible. Another interesting fact is that Rachel named a son George Henry and a daughter Elizabeth (although admittedly, most families seemed to have the latter). That George Henry Morgan was my great grandfather.

My grandfather was Lorenzo Andrews of Harbour Grace, Nfld. He married Agnes Noel of either Harbour Grace or Brigus. Am searching any information on Agnes Noel Andrews. She was born
in 1869, and had a sister Eliza, who married George Verge.

Lorenzo is my 1 cousin, 3x removed. His Father would be my third great uncle. I unfortunately do not have any information on Lorenzo’s wife, but I have LOTs of information regarding other Andrews folks!

Hello! I am Wondering if anyone can confirm my research of Samuel John Andrews 1873-1909 who was married to Harriet Cairner. I have been searching for his parents, I know he has 5 brothers Robert, Kenneth, Job, Lewis, and Walter. Samuel drowned with a cousin Henry Andrews 1849-1909 in La Scie on Nov 22 1909 and in some transcription he is listed as Henry’s son.
