My name is Alecia Solis, I am trying to locate my family history and when they migrated to the island. My great grandmother was taken to the island and buried in a tiny town in White Bay. My great grandmother name is Flora n. Combden. My great grandfather was George w. Combden. I am looking to find out where I may find information on where they migrated from. I know there are other family members still in the area. I am trying to find information from a few cousins in the Ontario area, but they do not know that much about where they family came from. If you could direct me into the right department or facility where I can find more information I would be grateful. I am in Florida and do not know the areas of Canada at all.
